CNN news anchor and The Situation Room host Wolf Blitzer will join TCM host Ben Mankiewicz on Friday, Oct. 26, to present a night of politically charged films as part of Turner Classic Movies’ month-long exploration of politics on film. Blitzer and Mankiewicz will introduce a trio of films, including Advise & Consent (1962),All the President’s Men (1976) and Seven Days in May (1964). While introducing the Watergate drama All the President’s Men, Blitzer recalls having his own “deep throat”-style experience in the mid-1990s, when he used a tactic from the film to confirm a major breaking news story.
